How to browse Internet Securely?

Internet has become one of the most used and common used features needed for us to connect with each other on time to time basis for better life and communication purposes. Though as Internet is gaining higher access the amount of malwares, viruses, back door traps and Trojans have infected bulk of websites and has made the browsing of Internet a lot more painful and difficult as these viruses steal a lot of CPU speed, personal information of hard disk(HDD) and causes Identity Thefts.

The Question still remains How to browse internet and not get any dirt from it?

This is what I shall tell you here, there are more one way to do so .

On Internet Nothing can be trusted excepted yourself, the only way to for browsing Trusted Internet is being only alert and conscious. There are few simple steps which can help you to browse Internet securely.

1. Use NoScript:
   This allows the blockage of Javascript, JavaScript, Java, Flash and other plugin. The non use of cross scripts (XSS) ensures that you dont initiate any wrong download or virus by clicking any links.

2. SSL Locks:

   SSL stands for Secure Socket layers and ensures that any data send is transferred among web pages in a 64 Bit irreversible Encryption format. This allows that any data you send to be used only for that particular website and wont be misued any place else. Any webpage which has SSL lock has " https " written before it's URL instead of " http ". Also SSL lock pages have a lock symbol in the right hand bottom task icon of the explorer.



3. Use Good Secure Browsers:You can use Samba or natulius GUI file manager or command prompt using smbclient. The SSLBridge allows you to browse Samba/windows share over Internet using secure VPN connection. Firefox and IE are other secure browser with a few tweaks like Internet Phishing, Internet Zone Security and Privacy Settings.




4. Use proxy Server: proxy server are used to mask IP so that you computer IP and other data remains totally secure . The proxy Server acts as a Relay between Client and host computer. To use proxy server is not always possible so one can use software like Hide My IP or Comodo which offer free 30 day secure internet browsing with no strings attached to it.
